In 2015, when one of my children was in second grade, I started at HGCS as a volunteer Mom during LUCY CALKIN’S WRITER’S WORKSHOP.

I am passionate about elementary education and enjoy my work.  Certified in Montessori Primary Education by the National Center for Montessori Education, five years ago I joined the school staff.  I have worked as a classroom tutor, an instructional assistant and am now working as a Campus Monitor.  My job is to supervise and keep all children safe and happy during their free time.  It has been fantastic all these years to see HGCS grow and witness the development of all students as they progress from grade to grade.
