Executive Director's Message

Dear Parents and Community Members,

I’m thrilled to be joining Howard Gardner Community School (HGCS) as your new Executive Director! For 23 years, I’ve dedicated myself to education, driven by the belief in its lasting impact on students’ lives. I’m particularly excited about the unique opportunities and growth a TK-8th grade environment offers.

The friendliness of the staff I’ve met so far has been truly impressive, and I’m eager to collaborate with everyone. While every school can improve, I’m energized to be part of HGCS’s journey towards excellence. A big thank you to the summer crew for beautifying the building and the admin team for helping me get acclimated!

My top priority is ensuring each student, from our youngest learners in TK to our developing young adults in 8th grade, thrives in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Together with our dedicated teachers, staff, and parents, I’m committed to achieving this goal.

Student safety is paramount. I’m committed to fostering a secure and supportive environment where everyone feels welcome. I believe in open communication and collaboration. Your ideas and suggestions for the future of HGCS are invaluable! My door is always open, and I look forward to getting to know you all through classroom visits, School Site Councils, Blooming
