Ana Velez

ED Specialist

Miss Ana is a native of the San Diego-Tijuana border region. Having grown up in Tijuana, Baja California, and completed her formative schooling there, she brings a rich, bicultural perspective to her work. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Spanish and, in 2023, she completed a master’s degree in Hispanic Literature. Her passion for education, both in learning and teaching, led her to pursue a second master’s degree in special education at National University, with the intention of advocating for all students and providing the support they deserve. In her free time, Miss Ana enjoys crafting (knitting, crocheting, bedazzling, you name it), puzzling, and caring for her plant collection. She knows adventure awaits, so whenever she has free time she’ll be out exploring the city with friends, most likely eating something delicious.
