Elizabeth Gordon Neibert

Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction & Data

Hello! I’m Mrs. Elizabeth, and I’m excited to begin my eighth year at Howard Gardner Community School. After starting my journey as the TK and Kindergarten teacher, I now proudly serve as the Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction & Data. In my role, I partner with teachers and staff to strengthen instruction, support student achievement, and create engaging learning experiences for every child. I believe every student is capable of achieving great things when they are challenged, supported, and truly known. Building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and ensuring every student feels valued are at the heart of everything I do. I’m a San Diego native and proud graduate of UC Berkeley, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology before completing my teaching credential and Master’s degree with an emphasis in Social-Emotional Learning. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time by the ocean, gardening, baking, and making memories with my husband, family, and friends. I’m also a proud dog owner to my giant German Shepherd, Hubert! I’m grateful to be part of the Howard Gardner Community School family and look forward to another wonderful year partnering with our students and families.
