I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies (Elementary Education) with a Specialization in Human Development (Special Education) from San Diego State University. My focus upon receiving my Mild/Moderate Credential pertained to positive behavioral supports in inclusive classrooms. I have experience working as a 1:1 Special Education Aide, paraprofessional, and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapist. I’ve also worked in before/after school programs and taught hip hop dance to a variety of ages. I’ve worked in education for over 15 years and started working at HGCS back in 2016. I believe in honoring Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, and I’m extremely thankful to be a part of this community. I have and will always be an advocate for my students and their families! In my off time, I love dancing, singing, playing bass/ukulele, Filipino martial arts/boxing, freelance makeup artistry, cooking, gardening, and more.
