Marisol Cortes

Director of Operations

I have proudly served at Howard Gardner Community Charter School since July 2015 and currently work as the Director of Operations, supporting the school in many areas to ensure students, staff, and families have what they need to succeed. Before joining HGCS, I spent seven years working at a charter high school and one year with a Head Start preschool program, where I developed a strong passion for supporting students and families. Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating positive school environments and helping students build the confidence to advocate for themselves. I believe that when students feel supported and empowered, they are better able to reach their full potential. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, singing, spending time with my family, and giving back to the community through service with local nonprofit organizations.
