Hello! My name is Ms. Nora, and I am a third grade teacher at Howard Gardner. This is my first year at the school, and I am grateful to be part of such a supportive learning community. I earned my bachelor’s degree from California State University San Marcos and am currently working toward my master’s degree in English Learning. Although teaching was not always my initial career plan, I discovered my passion for education after beginning my work in the district at the age of 18, nearly 12 years ago. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with multiple grade levels and spent three years in special education, experiences that have strongly shaped my teaching philosophy and approach to supporting students. Third grade is a grade level I truly enjoy, as it is a time of tremendous academic and social growth. I am very happy in my position at Howard Gardner and look forward to supporting my students as they grow into confident, capable learners.
